Students in Dr. Brandon Costelloe-Kuehn’s Nature/Society class got a tour of Nathan Darrow’s orchard last Friday. Students got to pick apples and hear about what it takes to produce large amounts of fresh produce for a local economy. Everything from fertilizer to federal funding came into the conversation between students and Mr. Darrow.
